The 2023 Silk Road Spring Festival Gala

 The gala begins with „The Brilliant Silk Road” which consists of four acts of „The Great Cause”, „The Feelings towards Family and Nation”, „Language crossing the Millennia Span” and „the Heart of Warriors”; continues with the central part, „China’s Beauty”, consisting of five acts of „White and Black: Knowledge and Acts”, „Cyan and Red: Chinese Ink Painting Colors”, „Nature: Black and Yellow”, „Red: Color of China” and „Color and light: Impression of Sky and Water”; and then the gala ends with „The Gorgeous World”. Color acts as a basic element linking the whole performance and corresponding to the theme. Each unit is an independent show in its own right and also interlinks with one another. It interprets different themes from a distinctive perspective. The shows tell stories about time, life, peace, coexistence, and symbiosis, and are characterized by beauty, passion, romance, technology, and wonder. This gala focuses on the geographical connections, long history, and splendid civilizations as shown in the Silk Road from the perspectives of both the East and West. Using multiple languages, convergence media, and TV and mobile devices for the audience in different countries, the gala celebrates the Chinese dream, communication and integration in this era, cultural pride, and global peace and happiness.
